We are excited to host a Shark Tank audition event exclusive to founders in our UMKC Entrepreneurship ecosystem!
Whether you just have a fantastic idea, are a start up or already operating successfully and looking to expand, if you feel you have a lucrative business or product and could use financial backing, then Shark Tank is just the show for you. Casting is looking for entrepreneurs who can pitch their breakthrough business concepts, products, properties and services to moguls in hopes of landing investment funds. If selected, five self-made, brilliant but tough investors (the Sharks) could be willing to part with their own hard-earned cash to give you the funding you need to jumpstart your venture. But the Sharks aren’t just out to invest; they too have a goal – to own a piece.
Please complete the form below to register, followed by an additional form to select your time slot. These are one-minute presentations followed by 10-14 minutes of discussion. You may bring a prototype or a laptop with slides to share with the producers. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before your selected pitch time.
Shark Tank is hosting an all-day open casting call to anyone in the Greater Kansas City area on May 15. Our special event at Bloch School on May 16 is open only to members of our UMKC community and allows you to schedule an estimated time for your interview.
The response to registration for this event has exceeded our expectations! All appointments for this exclusive casting call have been filled. Nearly 60 founders have been scheduled and slots were filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
