This competition enables you to share your side hustle with other entrepreneurial students at UMKC for a chance to win a scholarship. Applications open October 1, 2024.

A side hustle is a job or business venture you take on in addition to your main commitments, like school or a part-time job. It’s a flexible way to earn extra money and explore your passions.

Whether it’s freelance projects, selling handmade goods, or offering a service, a side hustle lets you gain new skills and achieve your financial goals while still focusing on your studies. This competition enables you to share your side hustle with other entrepreneurial students at UMKC for a chance to win a scholarship!

The 2024 Side Hustle Challenge awards will be held a the First Tuesday Founder Series on November 12 (Moved from November 5 due to Election Day).
