About Us

Who we are

We inspire and nurture entrepreneurs and innovators as they pursue ways to create value in new and existing organizations. Our programs are designed to advance entrepreneurship and innovation across the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus, locally in the Kansas City region and around the world.

What we do

We offer formal entrepreneurship education to enrolled UMKC students and we provide educational opportunities for members of the community who are looking for guidance and support as they prepare to launch new ventures. Our programs help facilitate early-stage startups from the concept phase to a sustainable launch in a safe environment of learning, experimenting and mentoring.

Connect With Our People

Leadership team

Our team is made of research faculty, clinical professors, and professional staff with a deep expertise in entrepreneurship education.

Student ambassadors

Ambassadors use their interest in entrepreneurship to represent and promote Regnier Institute initiatives among their peers.

“The staff has always been supportive when I needed help, informative when I needed guidance and (constructively) critical when I needed to change course.”

Tim Sylvester, Founder, Integrated Roadways and 2011 E-Scholars Graduate
