UMKC’s Institute for Labor Studies Program Changes Its Name

The Institute for Labor Studies, a program in the Economics Department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, is changing its name.

The new title, Worker Education and Labor Studies, “reflects the needs of an evolving economy and broadens the mission of labor studies to include education, training and research about work and all working people,” the university said. Read more.
