UMKC alumni see more people covered in health care’s future

Four national health care leaders and University of Missouri-Kansas City alumni gathered on Thursday, April 20 to talk about the future of health care.

Theron Odlaug, acting CEO of Canadian drug development and testing company Impopharma Inc.; Dr. George Holcomb III, surgeon-in-chief at Children’s Mercy; Dr. Latha Sivaprasad, CMO for Rhode Island Hospital; and Heather Lyons-Burney, professor at the UMKC School of Pharmacy and co-founder of Branson-based nonprofit Faith Community Health, shared their thoughts on the future of health care finance.
