The UMKC Volker Campus will experience closures at the intersection of 51^st and Holmes Streets, and the sidewalk on the east side of Holmes toward 52^nd Street, beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The closures will allow for excavation and utility work by a city approved worked crew, which will continue throughout the day. Alternating lanes of 51^st Street will be closed as necessary. Holmes Street will be closed for the day. The work will identify depth and size of the utilities beneath the street and sidewalk in order to complete the design of the intersection improvement.
