Sedalia schools modeling success for other districts

Missouri education officials want to leverage the best practices from the best districts to improve learning statewide, and Sedalia School District 200 has been invited to take a leadership role in the effort.

The Missouri Model District Initiative, launched by the state’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and directed by University of Missouri-Kansas City staff, brings together districts that are cultivating student learning and using innovative practices to create blueprints for other districts to follow. The goal is for these best practices to help students across Missouri reach optimal levels of success.
