New UMKC Business Dean Remains Committed to Entrepreneurial Emphasis

The new dean of UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Management said he is committed to building up the school’s emphasis on entrepreneurship — along with its enrollment.

The University of Missouri-Kansas City named David Donnelly to succeed Teng-Kee Tan as head of its business school. After a national search, the university found its new dean on its own campus. Donnelly came to UMKC in 2004 as chairman of the Bloch School’s accounting department and was named interim dean in May due to health issues affecting Tan.
