UMKC celebrates 80th Anniversary with Founders’ Week

The University of Missouri-Kansas City celebrated its 80th anniversary in style.

A week-long celebration of the university’s 80th anniversary, dubbed Founders’ Week, included a Commemoration Day ceremony, a Regalia Run/Walk 5K, a State of the University address, master classes led by accomplished alumni, and multiple arts and culture events. The festivities ran Sept. 28- Oct. 5.
