The TAASU Freedom Breakfast was created not only to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but also to promote unity and harmony within our community.  We invite you to attend this special event which highlights UMKC’s institutional values of diversity, inclusiveness and respect.  This is the 51th year anniversary for TAASU. Our keynote speaker will be Chiluba J. Musonda. Chiluba is a UMKC alumn and was raised in Lusaka, Zambia and came to the United States as an international student in 2004. He is the author of Home Away From Home, the story of an international student’s journey from Africa to America.
