Do you occasionally want to give your brain a breather from your everyday work tasks? Have you been looking for ways to connect with other people around campus? Join the UMKC Book Club! We will be reading a variety of books related to work, happiness, and positivity. Topics that we all need during times like these.
Our first read will be, “How Full is Your Bucket? Positive Strategies for Work and Life,” by Tom Rath and Donald O. Clifton. For this title, a total of four sessions will be held in Zoom on a bi-weekly basis. As of May 5th, you can enroll for each session through MyLearn, which is also where you can access the book in both text and audio versions.
The inaugural meeting will take place Thursday, May 21st at 3pm. Each meeting will be set up for 45 minutes. Please note, space is limited to 23 spots per meeting, so sign up as soon as possible!
