Learn more about your work space with an Ergonomic Workshop. Saint Luke’s LIFEWISE instructors, Haley Mann and Angie Schreck will be presenting two Ergonomic Workshops at UMKC to give you information about health, safety, and productivity.

Objectives:
- Understand the basic principles and terminology of ergonomics.
- Recognize the basic risk factors that can cause or contribute to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
- Recognize ways to prevent MSDs
- Understand basic anatomy as it relates to ergonomics.
- Assess the workstations, equipment, and/or work processes within individual departments for ergonomic safety, and be able to identify any ergonomic concerns.
- Seek appropriate resolution for any ergonomic concerns identified
