April 12: Here to THRIVE: Six Steps to Take Charge of Your Career Progression
Learn how to thrive at UMKC with this six-step program focusing on career progression. You will learn how to evaluate where you are, decide where you want to go, and discover ways to help get you there over the course of this training. Prepare to come away with a toolbox full of resources and strategies to kick start your career progression goals. This training will be led by Emma Satterfield, Senior HR Specialist in Compensation & Classification at UMKC. Register for a session here.
April 19: “Walk It Out!” Walking Club Kickoff Event
Join us for the kickoff of our revitalized Employee Walking Club. Meet us at the Volker Campus Kickoff at the University Parkway Tuesday, April 19th at 12pm or meet us at the courtyard area between the Health Sciences Building and School of Medicine on Hospital Hill Thursday, April 21st at 12pm for the Hospital Hill Kickoff. April 28: Take your Child to Work Day
Employees will have the exciting opportunity to bring their child(ren) to UMKC for the day in celebration of national Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Each child will be provided with a t-shirt and complementary lunch at the Atterbury Student Success Center cafeteria. The day’s schedule of events and activities will give your child(ren) a fun snapshot of UMKC and all of the amazing things our campus has to offer. Registration information coming soon!
