LGBTQIA Health District Alliance

Support for LGBTQIA students within the UMKC schools of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Health Science, as well as services to create a more open and inclusive LGBT-friendly campus. In addition, the mission of the LGBT Health Alliance is to improve health care for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender patients. We work toward this goal by educating medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy and health science students on health disparities in this population and the factors that may affect their access to care and quality of care. All health sciences programs are represented.
