The Rainbow Lounge is located in Student Union, Room 325. Established by LGBTQIA Programs & Services, the Rainbow Lounge is UMKC’s official LGBTQIA resource space. This space is intended as a welcoming space for students, regardless of sexual or gender diversity and expression. We ask that all guests help maintain the Rainbow Lounge as a space of inclusion. Affectionately referred to as our LGBTQIA living room, here, students will find literature, recreational opportunities and lounge space for, about, and by the UMKC LGBTQIA+ student community.
The hours of the Rainbow Lounge are as follows:
Monday – Thursday, 8-7pm
Friday, 8-5pm
