How to Join
Our fraternities and sororities bring in new members through processes know as recruitment or intake. Recruitment occurs in both formal and informal ways.
Requirements to Join
Only currently enrolled students at the University of Missouri-Kansas City are eligible to join any fraternity or sorority. Each organization has a grade point average and credit hour requirement specific to their chapter to be eligible for membership.
In addition to these requirements, chapters may expect leadership and service experiences prior to joining. There is also a financial component to fraternities and sororities that all interested students should consider when participating in recruitment or intake.
