Eric Davis Jr., UPB President

Hometown: St. Louis, MO

Major: Business Administration, Real Estate emphasis

Hobbies: Fishing, video games, sneakers, trying new restaurants and sports

Fun fact about you: Eric loves to cook & I’m always finding new recipes to re-create. My favorite cuisine is Asian food.

What you like most about UPB: “UPB has allowed me to meet so many people and befriend so many students that I otherwise would not have known. I have been able to create bonds with the UMKC student body.”

David Chappelle, UPB Vice President

Hometown: Dallas, TX

Major: Business Administration, Entrepreneurship emphasis

Hobbies: UMKC track athlete as a high jumper, polemarch & President of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.

Fun fact about you: David owns his own vending machine company back home in Texas, Chappelle Vending Works, LLC.

What you like most about UPB: “I like the ability to bring the entire campus together to enjoy events that students would usually have to pay for.”

Patrick Brown, Roos in the City Coordinator

Hometown: Freeport, Grand Bahama

Major: Electrical & Computing Engineering

Hobbies: Sports, shopping, trying new restaurants, traveling

Fun fact about you: I’m a Christian
What you like most about UPB: “I like planning on organizing events and being able to be a part of student’s enjoyment when attending an event I planned or help created. I like the teamwork.”

Malon Lee, Roo Traditions & Spirits Coordinator

Hometown: Kansas City, MO

Major: Biology major with a Spanish minor

Hobbies: UMKC track athlete competing in the 100 meter, 200 meter, 4×1 & 4×4 relays

Fun fact about you: Malon enjoys to run and be a part of the UMKC track team.

What do you like most about UPB: “I like how we are able to hold various events as well as give students the opportunity to explore KC. Everything we do is zero cost to the student body, allowing more students to attend.”

Christina Terrell, After Hours Coordinator

Hometown: St. Louis, MO

Major: Health Sciences/Nursing with an Entrepreneurship minor

Hobbies: Christina enjoys skating and she also loves to volunteer at the KC Veteran Medical Center & Habitat for Humanity.

Fun fact about you:  Christina eventually plans on opening her own daycare.

What do you like most about UPB: “I like how diverse our events are and how we produce such a large number of quality events.”

JaQuan Scott, Live Events Coordinator

Hometown: St. Louis, MO

Major: Mechanical Engineering

Hobbies: JaQuan enjoys playing sudoku in his spare time. He is also a part of Men of Color, NSBE, NAACP, and an AACE mentor.

Fun fact about you: JaQuan is a first generation college student.

What do you like about UPB: “I enjoy making interactive events and knowing that I did something to help a student’s college experience here at UMKC.”
