2003-2008

  • Proposed a new topology of bi-directional multilevel modular capacitor-clamped DC-DC converter (MMCCC) for future
    hybrid electric and fuel cell drive train (Ph.D. dissertation). Also developed several isolated and non-isolated
    versions of the MMCCC converter for various applications
  • Contributed in photovoltaic energy harvesting project of EPRI and design of an energy management system involving
    photovoltaic and motor drives with grid interface
  • Built a test bench for measuring the efficiency and load pattern modeling for desktop and server power supplies
