2007-2009

Senior Power Electronics Engineer, Electric Power research Institute (EPRI), Knoxville, TN

  • Actively participated in EPRI’s electric transportation program, and responsible for electric vehicle testing and investigating grid impact. Participated in projects involving failure analysis of power conditioners, renewable energy harvesting and industrial power supply characterization.
  • Worked as one of the key architects of EPRI’s energy efficiency initiative “The Living Lab” which involves smart and communicating power management devices, smart circuit breakers, advanced meter interface (AMI), demand response gateways and various other devices demonstrating energy efficiency.

2003-2005

Research Student, EPRI Solutions Inc.

  • Conducted research in computer power supply efficiency measurement issues; designed and built a PC controlled measurement device to measure the efficiency of a power supply while providing power to various voltage buses in motherboards and peripheral devices. Contributed in EPRI’s PVDC project in 2003-2004 time period.
