Alli Jordan (MFA 2014) received a grant from the Women’s Council of the University of Missouri-Kansas City to travel to Georgia to do research on the writer Flannery O’Connor. Jordan plans to use the research to write a play about O’Connor during the time when her first collection of short stories was published.
Georgia College and State University houses O’Connor’s library of primary documents, including first drafts of her works and letters.
