AWARDS: Catherine Browder’s story, “The Canine Cure,” won the Mighty River Fiction Prize from the literary magazine BIG MUDDY: a Journal of the Mississippi River Valley, and appeared in that magazine (Vol. 14.1)

PRODUCTIONS: Her play, “The Falstaff Years” appeared in the KC Fringe Festival in July, as one of 4 one-acts in “Turning Points,” produced by Potluck Productions.

PUBLICATIONS: Her book reviews on the fiction of Susan Tukelve and Olafur Gunnarsson appeared in recent editions of NEW LETTERS: Vol 80. No 2 and Vol.38, Nos. 3 & 4.

PUBLICATIONS: Her book NOW WE CAN ALL GO HOME: 3 Novellas in Homage to Chekhov (BkMk Press) will receive its release and launch Oct. 1 at White Recital Hall, sponsored by BkMk, New Letters, UMKC Alumni Assoc. and KCArts.
