After graduating from UMKC with his MA in English literature in 2011, Jordan Burr was accepted to the Ph.D. program at the University of Kansas (advice to prospective Ph.D. applicants: apply early and to a ton of programs)!
At KU, Burr was awarded a JoAnn Klemmer Research Assistantship, which allowed him to work closely with a fantastic Irish literature scholar, Dr. Katherine Conrad.
Currently, he teaches intermediate composition at KU and looks forward to finishing his PhD coursework this May.
