Monica Youn is the author of Blackacre (20!6), longlisted for the National Book Award; Ignatz (2010), a finalist for the National Book Award; and Barter (2003). She was a Rhodes Scholar in English literature at Oxford University, graduated from Yale Law School, practiced law for more than a decade, served as a commentator on PBS and MSNBC, and published political commentary in Slate and 7be New York Times. Her poems have appeared in The New Republic, 7be New Yorker, 7be Paris Review, Poetry and The Best American Poetry. She was a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, and now reaches poetry at Princeton.
