From 1906 until today, National Pan-Hellenic Council Divine Nine organizations have collectively answered the call to support, challenge, and push for positive educational, socio-economic, health, and political change within and for Black and marginalized communities. These distinguished organizations are proof that though circumstances may make us feel buried at times, we are actually planted, and with purpose and collaboration, strength and grace, we can and will bloom.
The UMKC Divine Nine Garden celebrates the legacy of allyship, interdependence, and impact the Divine Nine perpetuates across our campus and within Greater Kansas City. Learn more about the Divine Nine here, at our beautiful new Divine Nine Garden, and in the Dean’s Gallery on the Fourth Floor of Miller Nichols Library.
