Prakash received a BSc degree from Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus, Nepal and a MSc degree from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He joined UMKC in August 2016 as an IPhD student studying physics and chemistry. He became a member of CPG in March 2017.
Prakash is interested in understanding the connections between the underlying structure of a material, its properties, its processing methods and its performance in applications. Currently, Prakash is working to generate classical interatomic potential to model amorphous materials. His research focuses on modelling amorphous molecular solids containing boron icosahedra.
