Registration Questions
Please register online to pay fees. For more information, visit the Register for the Workshop page.
In order to save paper, hard-copy forms are only available upon request. Please contact our office by email at music-ce@umkc.edu.
Our system will send you a confirmation email when you create an account. Please check the email address you listed on your account and look for this email (be sure to check the spam filter!). You must click on the confirmation link to activate your account.
If this email does not arrive within 24 hours, please call our office and confirm your email address. We can activate your account manually.
The email address you provide on your registration is the one we will use to contact you. If you would like us to send information to another email address, please contact us by email at music-ce@umkc.edu or phone at 816-235-2741.
We do not offer refunds for our summer programs.
Workshop Questions
Most UMKC buildings are outfitted with wireless internet, which can be accessed by a UMKC username and password that changes weekly. At program check-in, we can provide you with that week’s guest username and password free of charge. This username and password will allow you to log-in everywhere on campus EXCEPT UMKC Residence Halls and is unsecured.
For participants who will be driving to campus each day, we recommend parking in the metered lot on the south side of Grant Hall. Because camp classes will only last for two hours each evening, it will be cheaper to park in the metered lot rather than purchasing a parking permit. While participants are welcome to purchase a $25 student parking pass, we recommend simply paying as you park.
Summers in Kansas City are hot and humid. University rooms and the dorms are air conditioned, but summer clothing is recommended. You may want to bring a sweater if you get chilly in air conditioning.
