The 2020 UMKC PERCUSSION WORKSHOP IS GOING ONLINE!

June 9-12, 2020

The UMKC Percussion Workshop provides students in high school (Grades 9-12), middle school (Grades 7-8) and elementary school (Grades 5-6) the opportunity to hone their technical skills and improve their musicianship by working with UMKC Percussion faculty and guest artists. Students will participate in 8 digital workshops over the course of the week on topics ranging from: concert percussion, marching percussion, mallet percussion, drum set techniques, and more! Two one-hour sessions will occur from 12:00-2:00pm each day. Additionally, all students can opt for one or more 30-minute private lessons with UMKC Percussion faculty or guest artists of their choice. If you’re a percussionist who wants to grow as a musician and have fun doing it, than this workshop is for you!
