Kudos to Haley!

Haley is matched to a clinical psychology internship at the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology!  Her position is at a rural integrated primary care clinic through the Munroe Meyer Institute.  Haley will be working within a pediatric primary care clinic to provide behavioral health services.

2018 SPeCTRE Grant Award

Dr. Ha and Drs. Amanda Bruce and Ann Davis at KUMC have awarded the 2018 Sunflower Pediatric Clinical Trials Research Extension (SPeCTRE) grant and received $19,770 in research funds. The SPeCTRE is a part of NIH grant.

Our project “An Advertising Inoculation for Underserved Youth” will investigate how psychoeducation for food advertising literacy impacts food decision-making in underserved youth.

Anum’s proposal “The Effect of Emotional Regulation on Prosocial Decision Making in Children” has been funded for  $2000 tuition grant and $1250 in research funds.
Sam’s proposal ” The Effect of Stress in Eating Behavior” has been funded for $2000 tuition grant and $1233 in research funds.

University Of Missouri Research Board Grant Award

Dr. Ha has received the University of Missouri Research Board (UMRB) grant. The proposal “Sharing My Precious: Prosocial Decision in Children” was funded for $20.624.
This project will investigate the developmental mechanism of prosocial decisions in children, and the roles of empathy and maternal prosociality in children’s adaptive development.
