Departmental Cook-out Spring 2017
The Department of Chemistry held its annual end of the year cook-out on May 5, 2017. The annual cook-out is put together by graduate students each year and is a time for faculty, staff, and students to celebrate the end of another successful academic year. We want to thank everyone who joined us for a great day with great food.
Kyung-Shin Suh wins award
On February 16, 2017, the annual Women’s Council Graduate Assistance Fund (GAF) Award Reception was held to honor the awardees of the GAF for 2017. One of the awardees is our own Kyung-Shin Suh, a graduate student pursing the iPh.D. in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Science. Kyung-Shin is a member of Prof. Clayborne’s group. Her current research project involves using computational methods to improve biotechnological materials. Congratulations Kyung-Shin!
