This webinar has two educational parts to its design:

Part One – The pre-recorded lecture is an introduction to nonprofits and civil society, history of fundraising and history of nonprofits. It will cover the following topics: Overview of Philanthropy and Fundraising, Philosophy of Fundraising and History of Fundraising.

Part Two – the next “live” Zoom session has not been set yet. It will be a basic orientation of the nonprofit sector and will cover National Fundraising Trends, Kansas City Fundraising Trends and Why don’t people give money and time?. The instructor will also give some basics around fundraising and fundraising structure: Donor Pyramid, Moves Management and the Roles of Staff and Board in Fundraising.
