Expert Speaker Series

Highlighting real-world use cases, emerging issues, and organizational strategies.

What does it really take to reinvent marketing in the age of AI—at global scale?
Featured Speaker: Stephanie Winters McConnell

Wednesday, March 25, 2026 | 8am – 10am
UMKC Bloch Executive Hall

Session Schedule

  • 8:00–8:30 a.m. — Arrival, coffee, and pastries/bagels
  • 8:30–10:00 a.m. — Program presentation and discussion
  • Q&A will take place at the conclusion of the session.

In this session, you’ll hear the inside story of how Accenture, one of the world’s largest professional services companies, completely reimagined its Marketing & Communications organization. Faced with growing complexity, slower ways of working, and information overload, Accenture didn’t settle for small fixes. Instead, it redesigned how marketing work flows, how teams collaborate, and how technology supports creativity—using automation and AI to remove friction and unlock speed, clarity, and impact.

This is not a technical deep dive or consulting case study. It’s a practical, human story about modern marketing: how AI can amplify (not replace) creative work, how large teams can move faster without losing quality, and what skills and mindsets matter most for the future.
