The 2014-2015 UMKC Enactus team competed in the USA National Competition in St. Louis April 13-16. The team advanced to the quarterfinals, beating out over 80 teams and ultimately losing out to last year’s national champion.
Enactus is an international student organization that brings together student, academic, and business leaders who are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. The national competition allows Enactus teams from all over the country to come together and compete on who best exemplifies this objective. In total, there were over 180 teams competing from across the country.
The Enactus presentation team members include: Ricky Abnos (B.S.M.E.), Chad Feather (B.B.A.), Dennis Mowry (Pharm.D.), Joohae Yoon (B.A.), Kate Ragan (B.Pharm.), Lindsey McClaran (B.B.A.) and Sanjay Jenkins (B.B.A.). The A/V team included Tielyr Creason (B.S.) and Clayton Kohler (B.B.A.). The support team included Ariel Davis-Rayford (B.S.), Chinmay Garud (M.S.), Eva Bett (B.L.E.), Hung Dao (MBA), Matthew Caffey (B.B.A.), Max Jaksetic (B.B.A.), Raj Patel (B.S.), Saba Gebru (B.S.A.) and Tim Parnacott (B.B.A.).
