Paying My Bill

There are many different ways of paying your UMKC bill: cash, check, credit card, wire transfer and Flywire.

Cash

If you are paying cash, it is best to do it in person rather than mailing it. You can go pay your bill at the Cashiers and Collections Office.

The Cashiers and Collections Office is located in the Administrative Center, 5115 Oak Street, Room 112.
Hours of Operation: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Credit Card

In the US, a credit card is a card linked to a line of credit. UMKC will accept

There is a 2.75% service charge when you use a credit card.
You will be charged this fee if you go to the Cashier in person or make the payment through Pathway.

Wire Transfer

Account Name: The University of Missouri-Kansas City

Include your name and student ID number as a reference in the wire transfer so that UMKC can easily locate your payment. Wire payments for the entire university are kept in 1 place, so there are 100s of transfers on any given day.
Once the transfer has been made, send an email to Ms. Elisa Day (daye@umkc.edu), notifying her of the transfer. Provide the information below:
Your Full Name:
Your 8 digit UMKC ID #:
US Dollar Amount of Transfer:

Name of the Bank sending the transfer:

Flywire

Most of our students use Flywire when making wire transfers. It is the quickest way to properly post any payment. You will go to this webpage:
https://www.flywire.com/pay/umkc
You will create an account and use it like online bill paying. The directions are easy to follow. Once the payment is scheduled, you can track its progress.
The fee transfer rate and exchange rates are very competitive.
