October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Do not forget that October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. Be on the look out for all the amazing events the Women’s Center and the Violence Prevention Program are putting on. We are starting with the Clothesline Project this Thursday, October 1st, 2015! All of our domestic violence awareness month programs are meant to educate on how to become a voice for all domestic violence survivors and victims. Come out to some (or all!) of our events and learn how we can end domestic violence around the world.

Thursday, October 1- The Clothesline Project

         Time: 9am-5pm, Display; 11am-1pm, Information Table

         Location: The Quad, 52nd & Rockhill Rd.

Wednesday, October 7- I Can, We Can Day of Action

         Time: 11am-1pm

         Location: Mille Nichols Learning Center Lobby, 800 E. 51st St

Wednesday, October 21-White Ribbon Day

         Time: 11am-1pm

         Location: Royal Hall, First Floor, 800 E. 52nd St.

Tuesday, October 27- A Way From Violence by Jeff Bucholtz

         Time: 6pm-7pm

         Location: Pierson Auditorium, Atterbury Student Success Center
