Hey Hey Hey! My name is Vinesha Rice and I just completed my sophomore year as a biology and chemistry major at UMKC. This summer, I am a work-study student and will be working at the Women’s Center on campus. I was so excited about starting, I could hardly sleep! I am very thrilled to be helping plan events for the following school year. The reason I choose the Office Assistant position at the Women’s Center is because I believe in the mission statement and want to help women recognize their rights. Some things I enjoy doing during my free time are volunteering, reading, singing, dancing, and embarrassingly enough, shopping! I hope that I can be an important addition to the Women’s Center team.
