UMKC Theatre Presents The Wrestling Season
The Wrestling Season holds up a mirror to high school life, and reflects it back to audiences of all ages. The setting is only a wrestling mat, as we watch eight teenagers struggle with the effects of rumor and innuendo on their high school lives. All of the action is wrestled, and a referee is present to guide the action along, and engage the audience in a post-performance forum on the issues raised in the play.
