There are many websites, books, and seminars dedicated to helping college students succeed financially.  It can be difficult to sort through all the information and figure out what will work for you.  This upcoming series of blogs will be aimed at helping you do just that–making a plan and sticking to it.  It will be covering information from making a budget to understanding debt to tax information.

The UMKC Financial Aid and Scholarships Office has a link to a very helpful website that much of our information will be coming from called Cash Course.  UMKC is also launching a money management website that explains how money works for students in control of their finances for the first time.
