Nearly 1,500 exceptional women graduate students at UMKC have received Graduate Assistance Fund (GAF) fellowships. Applications are available now and are accepted until December 1, 2010 at 5:00 pm.
Established in 1971, the GAF provides financial support to women currently enrolled in graduate programs or in the Schools of Dentistry, Law, Medicine or Pharmacy. The fund is focused on supporting students beyond the classroom and thus does not fund tuition and textbooks. It is designed to facilitate studies and to enrich and encourage educational experiences.
