Submissions for Number One Due December 10th
Number One Magazine, UMKC’s Student Literary Journal, is now accepting submissions of original creative work from student writers, graphic artists, and photographers. The deadline for submissions is Dec 10, 2010.
Number One publishes the best of UMKC students’ original work, including fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction (essays), photography, graphic arts, and 10-minute plays and screenplays.
Students who want their work considered for the magazine’s 62nd edition must e-mail it as an attachment or Google doc to numberonemagazine@gmail.com by Dec. 10, 2010.
While the magazine has traditionally been published at the end of the spring semester, this edition of Number One will be published earlier than ever: Number One will publish in January 2011. This change lets the UMKC community celebrate students’ published work while the academic year is still in full force.
