UMKC recently received news that Maria Iliakova, A&S 2009 and a triple major in biology, Chemistry and Spanish, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study biology in Barcelona, Spain. Iliakova’s UMKC mentors were Dean Lawrence Dreyfus, Dean of the UMKC School of Biological Sciences, and Dr. Kathleen Kilway, Associate Professor of Chemistry.
