Sign Up for Lunchtime Classes to Improve Flexibility and Strength

Tai Chi

12:10 to 1 p.m. Mondays, April 7 to June 2 (No class on April 28 and May 12)

Administrative Center, 5115 Oak St.

  • 6-week session for $30
  • Pre-registration is required one week before the session. Make checks payable to: University of Missouri Extension | 1106 W. Main Street | Blue Springs, MO 64015 | Attn: Tai Chi Class
  • Loose, comfortable work clothes and flat shoes are appropriate; no need for an exercise mat
  • Almost anyone with arthritis or any physical condition can learn this program. It is an easy, safe, effective exercise and supported by the Arthritis Foundation of America.

Yoga

Tuesdays, April 1 to 29. 5 weeks for $15. James C. Olson Performing Arts Center, 4949 Cherry St., McIlrath Lounge

Fridays, April 4 to 25. 4 weeks for $12. James C. Olson Performing Arts Center, McIlrath Lounge

  • All classes are 12:10 to 12:50 p.m.
  • Prices listed above. Drop-in any class for $5.
  • Bring a yoga mat and a thick blanket, if possible. Comfortable street clothes are encouraged.
  • Beginners welcome!
