African American Read In Will Take Place on Feb. 19

Joining more than one million readers nationwide, University of Missouri-Kansas City University Libraries celebrates Black History Month by participating in the 25th National African American Read In, 1:30-3:30 p.m., Feb. 19, in the Miller Nichols Library’s iX Theatre.

Participants are invited to read, sing or perform a work from the African-American author of your choice, or just come to listen, reflect and enjoy.

Advance registration is suggested. “Drop in” presenters are welcome as time allows.
