National Society of Black Engineers Holds Open House

High school students contemplating Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) degree fields and career opportunities are invited to meet students from UMKC’s School of Computing and Engineering at the 2nd Annual Youth Minority Engineering Night. A community outreach activity of the UMKC chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and their corporate sponsors, the open house will run from 6 – 9 p.m., May 13, at the Kauffman Conference Center, 4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, Mo.

Interested students are asked to register online or contact Dej’on Slaughter dlsnqf@mail.umkc.edu or 816-517-8024 for more information. Because of space limitations, students are asked to bring only one parent or guardian.
