The UMKC School of Nursing and Health Studies cordially invites you to a retirement celebration honoring Dean Lora Lacey-Haun. Dean Lacey-Haun has served UMKC for 32 years.

Lacey-Haun, R.N., Ph.D., became dean at the UMKC School of Nursing in 2004. She served as associate dean of UMKC Graduate Studies from 2002-04 and as associate dean of Research and Graduate Studies at the School of Nursing from 1993-02. She holds a doctorate from UMKC in curriculum and instruction/ adult education and has been on faculty at the school since 1981. During her tenure, Dean Lacey-Haun received more than $6 million in external funding for research and program grants.
In 2010, the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Nursing recognized Dean Lacey-Haun as one of 50 Visionary Alumni. In February 2013, Ingram’s magazine recognized her as one of nine Icons in Education from Missouri and Kansas.
