Cintas Document Management presents: The UMKC RecycleMania Shredding event. Faculty, staff and students are invited to shred their documents Wednesday, March 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the 4825 Troost parking lot.

Not sure what materials to shred? Here are a few suggestions: Bank statements, canceled checks, tax returns, junk mail, credit card receipts and more. CD’s, back-up disks, floppy disks, tapes, video tapes, and hard drives can also be destroyed but must be kept separately and cannot be shredded on-site.

Your participation helps UMKC in the annual RecycleMania competition. RecycleMania is a nationwide competition that challenges schools to increase their recycling efforts. The competition hopes to spark new and long-lasting sustainable practices across the country. It ends March 30.
