Author and legal expert Jeffrey Toobin will appear on campus April 11 to talk about the U.S. Supreme Court and its impact on the major issues of our time.
Toobin, a CNN analyst and staff writer for The New Yorker, is an esteemed authority on politics, media and the law.
Toobin’s reliable inside account of modern-day justices and their decisions, The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court, captured the public’s attention, won the J. Anthony Lukas Book Prize, and remained four months on The New York Times Best Seller list.
The program, “The U.S. Supreme Court and the Major Issues of our Time: An Evening with Jeffrey Toobin,” begins at 7 p.m. at Pierson Auditorium in the Student Success Center, 5000 Holmes.
