December 4th, 2012 · No Comments · Diversity, Divisions, Departments and Centers, Staff, Students, Visual and Performing Arts

[The following was provided by the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.]

Students representing six UMKC cultural groups will perform and display decorative, culture-specific boards at the Chancellor’s Holiday Tea from 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 on the Volker Campus.

UMKC students – Amra Suljic and Sashi Kanth Saripalle – are leading the project. The goal is to bring together people from all ethnicities, races, religions and backgrounds to celebrate this holiday season together, share information, break barriers and make friends with those from different backgrounds and cultures.

A taped dress rehearsal of this event will be shown at the Dec. 10 tea, which will be held at the Diastole.

Join the students as they showcase some of UMKC’s student diversity.
