UMKC’s new printing facility, the Document Solutions Center, is making your print experience as easy, cost-effective and convenient as possible. When you’re ready to place an order, all you need is a MoCode to use the online form. Students may pay with a personal debit or credit card. Visit DSC and follow the directions provided there.
Once you are established as a customer, the ordering mechanism can be set to automatically display your customer profile. The program allows you to order jobs easily, define finishing options and manage your shopping cart.
Asked about the advantages of the Document Solutions Center,
Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Sharon Lindenbaum said, “The DSC fee scale lowers your costs the more the center is utilized; so even for small print runs, you will save money. Chancellor Morton has emphasized how important that is to all of us in these times. Plus, the new center offers upgraded service and uses sustainable practices. To save time, money and resources, the administration encourages faculty, staff and students to use the DSC.”
Group training sessions will be held on both campuses over the next several weeks. Or you may contact the center for additional assistance. Financial officers and others who manage print projects are encouraged to take advantage of these tutorials and learn about the cost-saving, high production value projects the DSC can handle.
The new Document Solutions Center will be party central on August 16, when the DSC officially rolls out the welcome mat. Visitors may drop in for an Open House any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. where they may tour the facility, enjoy refreshments and register for door prizes. At the same time, you can learn how to place orders by uploading files and how to enhance your job by choosing the right paper.
