Lisen Tammeus, assistant vice chancellor in Advancement, accepted the award for ACR

The UMKC Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations was recently presented the Outstanding Staff Award by the LGBTQIA office. They were collectively recognized at the LGBTQIA Lavender Graduates Recognition & Awards.

ACR received the recognition for its efforts in challenging oppressive policies and in helping to create a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA students, faculty, staff and the community.
