The Friends of the Library will celebrate Kansas City through the treasures housed within the UMKC Libraries during its 47th Annual Celebration, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on April 17 at Union Station. The treasures – curated by Stuart Hinds – will showcase the unusual and culturally significant jewels and artifacts from the LaBudde Special Collections.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting Treasure Hunt or at the door.
